* Determine the appropriate amount of time you will need for your appointment by talking to your stylist in advance about when you'll need to walk out the door of the salon, allowing plenty of time for makeup preparation, getting dressed, and your photographer's schedule!

* Please be on time. Many wedding parties and proms/formals can create a very busy atmosphere in the salon. Your stylist will want to devote as much time as necessary for you. However, other clients will also be anxiously awaiting their appointments. If you should need to cancel, we require at least a 72-hour notice for all special occasion appointments.

 

* Remember to wear a button-down shirt for your appointment. You will not want to pull a T-shirt over your photo-ready hairstyle!

 

* For best results, unless otherwise previously discussed, please shampoo your hair the night before your appointment. Your style will hold much better and be less fly-away if it is slightly "primed." Unless otherwise specified, your hair should be dry and not flat-ironed when arriving for your appointment.

 

* If a consultation has not previously taken place, we ask that you bring pictures for reference with you for your appointment. Be prepared to discuss with your stylist what your goals are, and what you absolutely don't want.

 

* Remember, we are not mind readers, so for ultimate success, communication is key and MUST be clear.

 

* Please bring all predetermined hair accessories to the salon with you.

ESPECIALLY FOR BRIDES

 

* Let your stylist know if your veil or headpiece will be removed during your wedding day or if you intend for it to stay in place throughout the day.

 

* If members of your wedding party will also be having their hair done with us, please remind them to be on time, wear a button-down shirt, and shampoo their hair the night before the appointment.

 

* Do not be afraid to accept suggestions. Remember, our professional stylists are accustomed to servicing clients for special occasions and can offer recommendations for appropriate styles for certain headpieces, themes, and hair types.
